Catherine Toribio found her passion for acting during her school years. Growing up in Rockaway Beach, Queens, New York. Catherine is fluent in Spanish, thanks to her Dominican Republic heritage. This skill opened doors for her in the world of commercials. Her talent has also shone through in numerous national commercials, earning her a growing fan base and recognition in the industry.

At just 17, Catherine made her mark by appearing in the HBO Showcase film, THE CHOICES WE MAKE, where she portrayed "Serenity," the best friend of a teenager facing a challenging pregnancy.

After graduation, she took her passion for acting to the next level by studying the Meisner acting technique in New York City. She also honed her skills in improvisation and on-camera work and moved to Los Angeles in 2013.

After two months of living in Los Angeles, Catherine Toribio landed her first major role in the film franchise: PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: THE MARKED ONES. Since, Catherine Toribio has been making waves in the entertainment industry. She's recurred on the popular hit series JANE THE VIRGIN for 5 seasons as Young Xiomara and played Dulce in the 2nd season of LA's FINEST. She has worked in films and guest starred on shows like MAJOR CRIMES and BABY DADDY, to name a few.

She's combined her passion for kids and photography and offers newborn, maternity, family, and branding photography services. Her first love is bringing characters to life in front of the camera but also finds it a rewarding endeavor to capture special moments for families to cherish forever.
