Avalon Greenberg Call

Avalon Greenberg Call, a California-born actress, ignited her passion for the performing arts from a young age, initially taking on roles in theater and commercials. Her career took a significant turn when she landed her debut professional role as Ruth in the world premiere of "Light Falling Down." Her commitment to the craft led her to obtain a BFA in Acting from the California Institute of the Arts, further refining her skills.
With a versatile talent, Avalon has graced both short films and feature productions, with her most recent role in an eagerly awaited film written and directed by Andrew Bowser. She also appeared as Harla in FIG AND THE WASP, and Harry in the film R PLAY. Beyond acting, she boasts a decade-long background as a classical ballet dancer and has ventured into modern and jazz dance. Additionally, Avalon is an accomplished filmmaker, earning multiple awards for her film CYBER CITY, and her latest creative endeavor, THE BALLET OF BOMBAY BEACH, which she wrote and directed, recently delighted audiences at the IFC Center in New York City.
Avalon is also a published author with Tebot Bach for her poetry book, “The Time Before Mint Peppers.” She is also a trained figure skater and has done Martial Arts such as Aikido, Jeet kune do, capoeira and rock climbing.
