 Benjamin Arthur was most recently seen recurring on NBC series YOUNG ROCK, portraying the renowned American wrestler “Jake The Snake.”

 

Benjamin previously recurred in the Fox series, THE MICK. He also starred opposite James Brolin and Christine Lahti in the independent feature THE STEPS. Benjamin made his debut opposite the legendary Maury Chaykin on the HBO Canada sitcom LESS THAN KIND, written and produced by Kids In The Hall founder Mark McKinney.  Benjamin’s work garnered one Leo win in four nominations and one Gemini win in two nominations. Additionally, he won the Canadian Comedy Award for “Best Ensemble” for LESS THAN KIND.  Benjamin also hosted the Leo Awards in 2010 and the British Columbia Film Society's Academy Awards event in 2012.  Benjamin was seen most recently in the latest installment of the American Pie franchise AMERICAN REUNION released by Universal, opposite Seann William Scott, in addition to the new Hulu original series WE GOT NEXT from Kenya Barris (Are We There Yet?), Hale Rothstein (Everybody Hates Chris), and Danny Leiner (The Office), about four unlikely friends who butt heads on the pick-up basketball court and on the sidelines of everyday life.  Behind the camera, Benjamin was the co-producer and writer of the film HANG LOOSE in which he also starred.  He most recently starred opposite Andrea Martin on the NBC series WORKING THE ENGELS. Benjamin is Canadian, residing in Los Angeles. He has dual citizenship.
