Bruce Wexler
RECENT BOOKINGS: EUPHORIA (Recurring)
Bruce is most known for portraying Robert Bennet, the father of Rue (Zendaya) on HBO’s EUPHORIA. It’s quite obvious then, that he began his career in musical theatre and sketch comedy; performing as a member of the Groundlings Sunday Company, UCB, sketch writing for the CBS Diversity Showcase and ultimately screen testing for Saturday Night Live. Other favorite TV roles include Guest Stars on ABC’S STUMPTOWN, FXX’s IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA, and the sketch comedy pilot, THE MEN’S ROOM (it was too sophisticated for TV). He voices six different characters on Netflix’s THE NUTTY BOY, as well as roles on the animated series WE BARE BEARS, SHAMAN KING, GLITCH TECHS, and the soon to be released ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS. He loves and is addicted to performing full length improvised plays at the Impro Theatre, LA’s home for narrative improv. He invites you to check out his portrayal of Jonathan Lawson on the Audible Original True Crime Podcast, “KILLING HOLLYWOOD: THE COTTON CLUB MURDER” in which he stars opposite Juliette Lewis and Rainn Wilson.
