Carlo Alban

RECENT: BLACKBIRD (Recurring).
Born in Ecuador, Carlo Alban has worked with some of the greatest filmmakers and playwrights of our time. Carlo originated the role of "Oscar" in the Broadway production of Lynn Nottage's Pulitzer Prize winning play SWEAT. Television credits range from a five-year series regular on SESAME STREET to recurring roles on BLACKBIRD (Apple TV+), OZ (HBO) and PRISON BREAK (Fox). Carlo's film work includes roles in 21 GRAMS (Alejandro González Inarritu), WHIP IT (Drew Barrymore) and MARGARET (Kenneth Lonergan). In New York theater, he has worked with The Public, TFANA, Intar, Vampire Cowboys, Rattlestick and Labyrinth Theater Company, among others. Regional credits include the Mark Taper Forum, Yale Rep, A.R.T., the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Dallas Theater Center and the Guthrie. Carlo is a member of Labyrinth Theater Company.
