Gerald Downey

Gerald Downey is a passionate Actor, Online entrepreneur, and Father of two, who currently resides in the City of Angels. Gerald was born in Fullerton, CA, and raised on a farm in southwest Missouri. Although he would later earn his stripes in various theatres in NYC, the initial spark of creativity entered his life early while do doing standup and monologues for the cows on the farm. This spark has stayed with him ever since.

Currently, after the successful Super Bowl spot in 2016 and 2023 and numerous commercials for Anheuser-Busch, he’s been “The Busch Guy” touring the Midwest. He’s also played “Poor Man’s Mr. Big” in LATE BLOOMERS, the Lead, Audrey K. Miller, of JUST ADD MAGIC’s Dad “Clayton”, and “Daryl” from the Toronto Film Festival’s SOUTHBOUND. He can also be seen in GREY’S ANATOMY, WORKAHOLICS, HAWAII FIVE-O, IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA, NCIS, NCIS: LA, CASTLE, MAD MEN, LEVERAGE, YOUNG SHELDON, BIRDS OF PREY, and DOLEMITE IS MY NAME! Some of his all time favorite movie experiences include working with Director George C. Wolfe in YOU’RE NOT YOU, and Clint Eastwood in J. EDGAR.

In addition to being able to milk a cow, he loves to be outdoors and playing with his loyal

dog.

Outside of the acting and the fitness sphere, Gerald enjoys spending quality time with his family, and is the proud full-time Dad of two beautiful twins, Connor & Fiona. Gerald is also an avid slow cooker chef and a recycled material sculptor.
