Jakevis Thomason

Jakevis Thomason, originally from Greenville, South Carolina, brings a choreographic voice rooted in versatility and storytelling. A graduate of USC’s Kaufman School of Dance, he thrives in the space where narrative, rhythm, and personality collide—always chasing fresh, unexpected ways to translate an idea or tell a story.

He’s choreographed work for Beyoncé, Brandy, Megan Thee Stallion, Rita Ora, and Thuy, along with projects for GAP, USC Kaufman, CLI Conservatory, and Whim W’him Dance Company.

For Jakevis, choreography is where innovation meets feeling—movement that challenges expectations, sparks joy, and leaves a lasting impression. Across as many creative spaces as possible, he aims to inspire the next generation of dancers and choreographers to move boldly and tell their own stories.
