Jasmine Badie
Jasmine “JB” Badie is undoubtably the “Pocket Queen;” as a term many in the dance community use to hit the accent in a song, find the groove in between steps, or giving the beat some of your own sauce… aka finding the “pocket.” If you’ve seen Beyoncé’s monumental Homecoming Coachella performance from 2018, then you definitely know the viral “Getting to the Money” dance break choreographed by JB. As if that viral moment wasn’t enough, JB also choreographed the “Lemon” music video from N*E*R*D’s comeback album. Before TikTok took over dance challenges, JB’s steps already took over the internet and the streets that got people to get up and dance again. Her mastery is analyzing performers to their best strengths in order to orchestrate the entire big picture.
