Jeremy Kent Jackson, originally from Colorado, graduated with a BFA in Acting from the University of Oklahoma School of Drama and completed a 6 level improvisation program at Minneapolis’ Dudley Riggs’ Brave New Workshop where he performed as an improviser in more than 100 shows. He has also performed professionally in over 60 plays across 6 states and has Guest Starred and Recurred on Television Shows including YOUER, CSI, LAS VEGAS, CSI:MIAMIAMERICAN DREAMSHAPPY FAMILYDRAKE AND JOSHWITHOUT A TRACE, and FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS. For 3 seasons he regularly recurred as Douglas Davenport on Disney XD’s LAB RATS and continued as the character for another year in the spinoff series, LAB RATS: ELITE FORCE. In addition to his stage and television credits, Jackson has been seen in nearly 50 national commercials including major campaigns for Pizza Hut and Burger King (as the famed “Tiny Hands Guy”), served a 2 year term as Best Buy’s in-house spokesperson, performed in several feature films including one led by master-director, David Lynch, and lent his voice to dozens of video games, most notably as the lead character, Joker, in the motion capture project CALL OF DUTY: ADVANCED WARFARE.

 

 

Alongside his career as a professional actor, Mr. Jackson has made a consistent commitment to training artists of all ages. He has taught acting, improvisation, voice & speech, stage-combat, stage-movement, audition technique, and acting for the camera and has developed curriculum on behalf of schools, theatre companies, and arts organizations in 6 states. He co-founded his own theatre education company, DiscoveryOnstage, in 2006 and served as its Co-Creator/Creative Director for more than 15 years. Throughout his time at DiscoveryOnstage he collaborated to create, develop, promote, and maintain arts education programs on behalf of dozens of schools, businesses, and communities, produced 17 summer camps and hundreds of productions, taught more than 3500 students and hosted upwards of 35,000 audience members. For the past 6 years Jeremy served as Associate Dean of Performing and Entertainment Arts as well as Department Chair of BFA Acting at SHussian College Los Angeles (FKA Studio School), a 4-year college offering BFA degrees in Acting, Commercial Dance, Musical Theatre, and Filmmaking. Jeremy completed his master’s degree in Management and Leadership in 2022 and is now serving as a member of the marketing and outreach team at ACT Contemporary Theatre.
