Growing up just outside NYC, Kate Grimes is a NY-based actress whose work has been featured on network/cable/streaming television, most notably Amazon's "Modern Love" as Andy Garcia's wife; recurring role as Dr. Jessica Wilson on CBS's "Bull"; Marvel's "Daredevil"; as a mother opposite Mariska Hargitay in "Law & Order; SVU", as Piper's lawyer in "Orange is the New Black"; and in, well, a very funny sketch about plastic surgery with Amy Schumer on "Inside Amy Schumer" (Spoiler: the facial prosthetics took 3 hours to apply).

Michael Engler (Downton Abbey) directed her in Masterpiece Classics' feature "The Chaperone" starring Elizabeth McGovern, written by Downton Abbey's Julien Fellowes. She had an incredible week on set of Stephen Spielberg's "The Post", playing a socialite at the recreation of Truman Capote's masquerade Black & White Ball at The Plaza Hotel. "To watch his vision executed on such a grand scale was a thrill - as was being directed by him on bended knee".

Kate was in off-Broadway 3-hander "Williston" with Bob Lupone, and played Lady Britomart in George Bernard Shaw's "Major Barbara" under the direction of Erica Gould. Also in NYC, she played Sue Bayliss in "My Three Sons". Kate attended Middlebury College and lived in France for 4 years where she performed cabaret and worked in TV production and advertising. Performing since childhood, she is raising two boys in NYC.
