Mike C. Nelson

Mike C. Nelson was born, bred and schooled in Indiana. That's right, he's a Hoosier! Spent his formative years in Chicago after college doing storefront theater, taking classes at Second City and starting his own sketch group (Dry Hump Comedy) that set out to upend the audience's delicate sensibilities in both the Windy City and starting in 2006 his new home of Los Angeles, California. Mike has booked over 100 national union commercials including his recent stint as Keith in Progressive's Dr. Rick (Turning into your parents) campaign. Currently, Mike can be seen in his recurring guest star role on the hit Apple TV show, SHRINKING. Other notable roles include Nurse Larry on the award-winning sitcom, BLACK-ISH and as Dr. Kubler in the horror anthology feature, THE MORTUARY COLLECTION. This would not be a complete bio if Mike did not mention that forever he will be known as a 3-time Jeopardy! champion which happened back in the spring of 2012.
