Poonam and Priyanka Shah are social media influencers that are establishing themselves as a twin brand,  along with being dancers, choreographers and commercial models/actresses. They have made an online impact through their unique Indian-American dance fusion videos. They were contestants on Season 9 of India’s top celebrity dance show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa: India’s Dancing with the Stars. Poonam and Priyanka made their mark in Bollywood as the show’s first international duo as well as same-gender duo, and garnered high praises from both high-profile publications like The Times of India and high-profile Indian celebrities like Karan Johar.

They’ve recently done a cameo in the Bollywood movie, “Mannmarziyaan” directed by the award-winning Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap. The movie released September of 2018, marking their entry into the Bollywood film industry.

They recently starred in their first nationwide commercial campaign, a Comcast XFinity commercial directed by Michael Gracey. Another one of their viral dance videos was transformed into a South Indian coffee commercial for Tanjara Group and won the international Tea Award from Thomas Edison Advertisement after rating as the top commercial in South India for a couple months. They have also shot a commercial with the Sunkist Soda brand.

Poonam and Priyanka are from Chicago, Illinois and both earned degrees from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s College of Business. After college, they decided to pursue their passions of choreography, dance, and acting instead. They currently post videos on their Youtube channel of their unique dance fusion, their unusually twinsy lives, and their unique journey chasing their dreams.
