In 2012, Rafael V. DeLeon relocated to New York City to pursue his passion for Theatre, Television, and Film. Rafael is currently a recurring actor (Manny Graciela) on Spike Lee’s hit series, SHE’S GOTTA HAVE IT (NETFLIX). Season 2 is currently in post-production. In addition to life training, Rafael learned the craft from teachers such as: Anthony Abeson, Terry Knickerbocker, Susan Batson, and Penny Templeton. Rafael has booked roles on several award-winning shows including: HOUSE OF CARDS (NETFLIX), DAREDEVIL (NETFLIX), SEX, DRUGS, AND ROCK & ROLL (FX) THE BREAKS (VH1), AND THE AMERICANS (FX). As a commercial actor, Rafael’s clients include: LEVI’S, COLE HAAN, SEAGRAM’S GIN, SAMSUNG, S’WELL, NORDSTROM, KMART, NIKE, BETTY CROCKER, AND MODELO ESPECIAL.

Rafael currently resides in Brooklyn, NY and enjoys going to the movies, trading stocks, and playing chess.
