Ross Partridge

Ross Partridge is an American actor, writer, and director known for blending character-driven storytelling with emotionally grounded performances. His first-ever job was in Steven Spielberg’s THE LOST WORLD: JURASSIC PARK, appearing in the iconic subway scene with Jeff Goldblum. His diverse acting credits span acclaimed television series such as BARRY (HBO), CASUAL (Hulu), BILLIONS (Showtime), INSECURE (HBO), ROOM 104 (HBO), THE BLACKLIST (NBC), and HOW TO MAKE IT IN AMERICA (HBO). He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Lonnie Byers in the Emmy-winning series STRANGER THINGS (Netflix).
In independent film, he is best known for his starring role in the Duplass Brothers' Sundance hit BAGHEAD (2008), and for writing, directing, and starring in LAMB (2015), which premiered at SXSW to critical acclaim. He also appeared in several other Sundance selections including THE FREEBIE, OFF HOURS, and THE EVENING HOUR. In addition, he starred in Sarah Adina Smith’s A MIDNIGHT SWIM, which won honors at AFI Fest. He also starred in THE WHITE KING with Jonathan Pryce and Fiona Shaw.
Partridge has worked with several major studio filmmakers, including Adam McKay (Don’t Look Up), starred opposite Tracey Ellis Ross in THE HIGH NOTE, directed by Nisha Ganatra and appeared in SECRET IN THEIR EYES (2015), directed by Billy Ray, playing Nicole Kidman's husband.
He later directed BRITHRITE (2023), a psychological thriller that premiered at Popcorn Frights and was acquired by Brainstorm Media. Partridge is set to appear in Seth MacFarlane’s TED (Peacock, 2025), marking his return to mainstream comedy.
He resides in Los Angeles and is married to actress Jennifer Lafleur.
