Ryan Maw

Ryan Maw is a Leo Award–winning choreographer, director, and performer whose work blends cinematic storytelling with dynamic, musical movement. He is the choreographer for the upcoming Victorious spin-off series Hollywood Arts (Netflix, 2026). Ryan also recently served as Assistant Choreographer for Disney+’s holiday feature A Very Jonas Christmas Movie and as Co-Choreographer for both A Week Away: The Series (Angel Studios) and LEGO’s new live-action musical TV special by Executive Producer, Kenny Ortega, and Director, Paul Becker. Across film and television, Ryan’s choreography has been featured in projects for Disney, Paramount, Hallmark, Angel Studios, and Netflix. Ryan’s visual work continues to gain international recognition. His music video “Drive You Like A Cadillac” for artist Sacha Carlson—directed and choreographed by Ryan—won Best Music Video at multiple film festivals worldwide. Dedicated to inspiring the next generation, Ryan teaches with a focus on musicality, intention, and the power of movement as storytelling. His mission is to help dancers unlock their voice—on stage, on screen, and far beyond.
