Ryan Mueller

Ryan Mueller is a cofounder of TheatreDNA Creative and an entertainment designer, producer, and creative consultant.

With 20 years of show production, creative direction and lighting design experience, his resume contains over 400 productions spanning all fields of entertainment, including theatrical productions, featured films, television pilots, global concert tours, and themed architainment lighting and visual design.

Ryan earned his BFA in Lighting Design from the Webster University Conservatory of Performing Arts in St. Louis, Missouri. As a lighting designer, he has worked with a wide array of directors, choreographers and consultants, working to make sure every element of the design communicates the story in a compelling and entertaining manner. This not only includes lighting, but costuming, media content, audio, synchronization, & scenic elements.

Notable lighting design credits include:

• Creative and Lighting Designer – ZooLights at the Phoenix Zoo (2011-Present)

• Architainment Lighting Designer – Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center

• Lighting Designer –  Summit at Sea 2016 – which took place aboard a Norwegian Cruise Ship, and featured 30 acclaimed musicians, 26 wellness specialists, over 100 keynote speakers, and 13 activated spaces with lighting.

• Architectural Lighting Designer and Show Consultant – Casino Arizona Bingo Hall

Throughout his 25 year career he’s worked with some of the most creative people and companies producing entertainment.  A partial list of clients include: Madonna, Shania Twain, Barry Manilow (International Tours), MTV Video Music Awards at Radio City Music Hall, The United Nations, Glamour Magazine, Shakespeare on the Sound, Women’s Project, Perseverance Theatre (Alaska), Lincoln Center, Mark Taper, New York Musical Theatre Festival, Russian National Ballet, Patravadi Theatre (Thailand), Edinburgh Festival, Theatre La Lune (France), The Brooklyn Mirage, and Cityfox.

Ryan has also worked as a Show Producer and Head Creative Designer on Music in Motion, as well as a Producer on the Broadway Revival of Godspell, and the African Children’s Choir National Tours.
