Sisa Grey is a trailblazing Sāmoan actress, comedian, writer, and creator whose work continues to break barriers across television, film, and live performance. Growing up in Sāmoa, Sisa first discovered her love of performing as a young girl watching her father, legendary Sāmoan entertainer Jerome Grey, command stages around the world. Witnessing the power of music, storytelling, and connection at such an early age sparked a passion that would shape the course of her life.
Years later in Hawai’i, that early spark led her to explore acting more seriously through a theatre class at her local community college, where she began developing the craft and confidence that would lead her to the stage. She soon found her footing in Hawai‘i theatre, performing in plays under the direction of the late Paul Cravath. Those formative years in live performance laid the foundation for the emotional honesty, timing, and commanding presence that continue to define her work today.
After building her career through standout appearances in television and film, Sisa went on to book memorable roles in projects such as MILF, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. She is known for bringing strength, warmth, and layered authenticity to every role, seamlessly moving between comedy, drama, and action.
Following the releases of Apple TV+’s Chief of War, where she appears as Vai, and Amazon’s Fallout Season 2 as Yosemite Elder, Sisa continues to expand her footprint in Hollywood. As one of the few Polynesian women breaking into multiple major franchises, she remains passionate about opening doors for Pasifika voices and stories both in front of and behind the camera.
In addition to her television and film work, Sisa is making major noise as one of the first Sāmoan American female stand-up comedians carving out a powerful lane in live comedy. Her voice blends cultural truth, family, womanhood, and sharp observational humor, continuing to connect with audiences across Hawai‘i, California, and beyond.
