Suzanne Savoy

Suzanne Savoy was born in Wilmington Delaware and grew up in Montreal, Canada.  She studied acting at the Royal National Theatre of Great Britain, University of Houston, and various other schools and studios. She studied design at the National Theatre School of Canada in Montreal and has designed costumes and puppets for companies on both sides of the border. Moving to Houston, TX in her late twenties, she performed at The Alley Theatre, TUTS, and the Houston Shakespeare Festival, as well as enjoying a thriving career in TV, Film, commercials, print, and voice-overs.  She co-founded Mercury Studio in Houston, which provided on-camera training for actors until 2005. Moving to Manhattan in 1996, Ms. Savoy became a mainstay of The Shakespeare Project, variously performing, designing sets and costumes, and creating & running TSP’s education division over a period of nine years.  After a hiatus from film and TV while raising her daughter, Bonnie Savoy Black, she resumed her on-screen work in both New York and Los Angeles.

Suzanne has done work that includes recurring roles on HOUSE OF CARDS, Steven Soderbergh’s THE KNICK, and Guest Stars on BETTER CALL SAUL, HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER, and many other film and TV projects.  She continues to work as a voice actress.
