Troy moved to LA from Seattle after college and quickly got his first TV gig working on FRASIER.
Larger roles in film and television followed including a half season on BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, guest spots on dramas like CSI:NY, STALKER, HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER, MASTERS OF SEX, and recurring roles on THE POLITICIAN, SNOWFALL and BOSCH. He has put his comedy training to work on projects such as MODERN FAMILY, STUCK IN THE MIDDLE and GAME SHAKERS.
Troy has worked with great film directors like Michael Mann (COLLATERAL), Michael Bay (THE ISLAND), Michael Apted (MASTERS OF SEX), and Joe Wright (THE SOLOIST), but he’s also usually working in independent films, commercials, and doing theater around Los Angeles.
Recent theater reviewers have called his performances “sublime” (LA Weekly), “excellent” (Stage Raw), “edgy yet sensitive” (LA Times), “superb” (Hollywood Reporter) and that he “does powerful, believable work” (Stage Scene LA).
Outside of the theater or studio, Troy can usually be found taking pictures or cycling the Central Coast.
