Valeri is a classically-trained actress who works in television, film and theater. Valeri booked a Recurring Role on THE OA (NETFLIX), and Guest-Starring roles on LAW AND ORDER, SVU (NBC), THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA (NBC), and FOREVER (ABC). Valeri plays a Lead Role in the indie feature ABOVE ALL THINGS (CHOICE FILMS), starring alongside Sean Young, which was recently released on all platforms. Valeri played opposite Clark Middleton in the film RICKY III (APT 929 PRODUCTIONS) and the Lead in LIFE, THE MOVIE (MAGENTA FILMS), by the celebrated Brazilian writer Rodrigo Nogueira (S.O.S.: Women to the Sea). Valeri starred in INSALATA CAPRESE (DELICIOUS FILMWORKS), as well as films with John Street Productions, Cult Comedy Pictures and 668 Productions. Valeri is currently in post-production for the film THE TRIP (working title), which she wrote, and also acted in with Apt 929 Productions and Magenta Films, and recently played the Lead in the short festival film, BLUEBERRIES FOR BREAKFAST.
In theater, Valeri recently played Harper in ANGELS IN AMERICA at The Repertory Theatre, St. Louis. She played a Lead in the Original Cast of THE CARPENTER, by Robert Askins (Tony-nominated for HAND TO GOD). She was a Lead in the Original Cast of TINY KUSHNER, by Tony Kushner, directed by Tony Taccone, and went on to perform TINY KUSHNER at Berkeley Repertory Theatre and The Tricycle Theater in London. Valeri also played Leading Roles in UNCLE VANYA, TIME STANDS STILL, CHARLEY’S AUNT, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, and THE TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA at the Guthrie Theater under the Artistic Direction of Joe Dowling. Other theater credits include Leads in Michael Attenborough’s production of AS YOU LIKE IT at Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, DC, and Pamela Berlin’s production of THE HUMANS at Pittsburgh Public Theater. Valeri played leading roles at the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, where she also curated, directed and acted in the new-works performance series, In Process, for three years. She has worked with numerous companies in NYC, including Metropolitan Playhouse, Ugly Rhino, Page 73 Productions and Apt 929 Productions.
