Xavier Alvarado is a Trinidadian Afro-Latino actor, filmmaker, and multidisciplinary artist from Houston, Texas, known for his powerful performances and boundary-pushing artistry. He burst onto the scene starring in and executive producing the breakout crime thriller HIERARCHY, which reached #1 on STARZ in 2025, dethroning major studio franchises and cementing his arrival as one of the most compelling new voices in independent film.
A former collegiate athlete turned creative visionary, Xavier approaches every project with precision, discipline, and heart. His performance in Hierarchy, a Texas-made feature celebrated for its raw authenticity and cinematic worldbuilding, showcased his dual talent for storytelling both in front of and behind the camera.
Before Hierarchy, Xavier gained attention with the award-winning short film BABY NICK featured on Revolt TV’s “Short and Fresh” series. Beyond the screen, he’s a celebrated painter whose bold visual work has led to collaborations with brands like Louis Vuitton and Austin FC, creating iconic Match Day posters and community-driven art installations. Currently in residence with The Paseo Project, he’s preparing to transform an entire city block into a living canvas, bridging art, culture, and social impact. As both actor and artist, Xavier is building a movement rooted in authenticity, creativity, and purpose. His work across film, fine art, and public installations, invites people to feel deeply, think differently, and see the world through a more human lens.
